Matt Ingram

Matt has been coaching baseball for the last 14 years and is entering his 7th year teaching baseball to kids in the Arcadia neighborhood. He does individual lessons focusing on all areas of the game with a specialty in hitting instruction. He started the first ABC club team in 2006 and has continued the ABC program with a 13U team last year and now a 10U, 11U and 14U travel teams.

Matt will also be entering his 3rd year as the Assistant Varsity Coach at Arcadia High School, working primarily with the development of the infielders and hitters. Prior to forming ABC, he worked as the Field Coordinator for the Arizona Diamondbacks Training Centers.

Before moving to Arizona, Matt lived in Illinois and worked as the Head Hitting Instructor at the Chicago Bulls/White Sox Training Academy.  Prior to working at the Academy, Matt coached at the collegiate level for five years which included one Junior College World Series Championship with Kishwaukee Junior College,  and was an Associate Scout.  Over the years he has coached over 25 drafted players.

Matt played collegiate baseball in Illinois as a shortstop at Elgin Community College and then at Olivet Nazarene University.

Matt lives in the Arcadia area with his wife, Margo and their two daughters, Kate and Sarah.
