The Arcadia baseball club has helped my son both in baseball and in life. Many clubs focus on winning above everything else. Not here, fundamentals of baseball and growing as a person come first. This has helped my son Zach, become a Varsity starter as a Freshman and in his first two years of high school baseball make the All-State Team.  I want to personally thank Matt and Steve for all hard work and life lessons they have taught these young men.       Mike Gibbons, son Zach plays at Saguaro HS

ABC was the start of a wonderful asset for my son.  Matt and Steve have a unique perspective, coaching style and the experience that young players really respond to.  My son is sixteen and he still talks with Matt on his game.  Without question, this program is a key component to Chris’ baseball success.    Jeff Beall, Son Chris plays at Brophy College Prep

Matt Ingram has done an exceptional job of coaching baseball in the Arcadia neighborhood for over 6 years, and has demonstrated the ability to teach the game of baseball to Little Leaguers playing Tee Ball to Division 1 Athletes. Matt provides each Player with the physical and mental tools necessary to succeed, and has an uncanny ability to get the most out of every individual he coaches. Matts hitting instruction is second to none and all of his students see remarkable improvement after each session. Matt’s passion for the game and skillful coaching has produced an impressive list of standout Players who not only are leaders on their teams, but who respect the game, their teammates and their community.”

“I want to share my thoughts regarding my son Gary’s experience with the Arcadia Baseball Club.  I would tell anyone interested that Matt is an unbelieveable coach of young men.  Not only did Matt improve Gary’s baseball skills, he taught Gary and his teammates how to act on the baseball field.  Matt plays no favorites, and makes all the players, regardless of ability act like gentlemen and respect their teammates and opponents. Matt has been an extremely positve influence on Gary, and continues to be supportive as he moves up the baseball levels.  Matt has a seemingly endless supply of enthusiam and patience when dealing with young men.” Chuck Cornish, son Gary plays at Arcadia HS

“Matt Ingram and and Steve Jackson took over the original Arcadia Baseball Club team after the Dad’s that formed the team decided it was time to get out of the dugout. We had always been a competitive team, but the boys needed a better understanding of the game in order to play at the next level. The team learned what was expected by their new coaches and it showed. The team won two of the last four tournaments. We finished our last season winning 16 of our last 18 games. The bond that was shared on this team was remarkable. Our boys are in high school now and as freshman our boys were head and shoulders above the talent pool. 5 of our boys played Varsity baseball at Arcadia High School as freshman. In their sophomore year in high school 8 of our players either made, all regions, honorable mention, or All State at their perspective schools. This is an amazing feat. In addition to baseball…Matt and Steve made super citizens out of our young men as they were positive examples and were always setting the high standards that instilled in our boys the meaning of respect and the life lessons that our boys will take with them forever.”    Ray McLain, son Preston plays at Arcadia HS

“The thing that stands out about the Arcadia Baseball Club is that the coaches bring much more to the table than being great baseball coaches.  The life skills that are being taught and reinforced while the boys play baseball are values that are helping them grow in other aspects of their lives (Integrity, Discipline, Endurance, Respect, Faith, Compassion, and Poise).  And in addition, we are all having a ton of fun (parents included).”  Tom & Vicki Anderson, son Matt plays on ABC 14u team

“Our son Josh started with Matt’s U13 team and I had lots of reservations about year around club ball and the epidemic amounts of over use injuries.  Matt has been very careful with our boys arms though and I am now such a believer that I have my younger son Mitch playing on Matt’s u11 team.  With Matt it is as much about teaching life lessons as it is about teaching baseball so I want my boys around Matt, being mentored, as much as possible.”   Dan Arndt, son Josh plays on ABC 14u team

Matt Ingram has worked with 3 of my 4 boys and created a great coach and player relationship. He not only has taught my son’s the fundamentals of baseball, but also what hard work is needed to get to the next level. Matt has become a good friend and supported these kids through some very tough times.      Steve Adelson, son Zane player on ABC 14u team

Under the guidance of Matt and Steve, the fundamental skills of our boys improved significantly and the continued transition from boys to young men over those 3 years was even more impressive. The commitment, discipline and patience imparted by Matt and Steve to the boys over that period of time has had a direct impact on all of these young men as they started high school and have continued playing.  Matt and Steve’s development of the Arcadia Baseball Club program over the past 4 years continues to be an amazing testament to what these two men have been able to accomplish in a relatively short period of time.  Their ability to instruct and impart fundamentals to all of the boys they instruct is outstanding.  In addition, they are both highly principled as coaches, men and fathers and I cannot tell you how much of an impact this has made on all the kids they have come into contact with.  I have been around youth baseball for the past 11 years and I have yet to see anyone like them.  Not only do they talk the talk but the walk the walk and set a tremendous example for the young men they teach  and coach to follow.  We as fathers can only take our boys so far from a coaching and mentoring perspective.  I firmly believe that having Matt and Steve involved these kids lives as been one of the best “coaching” decisions we have ever made.  Jim Scannell,  Son Michael plays at Arcadia HS
